Meet Mandy

One of Mandy’s earliest memories of flowers was when she was in Kindergarten. Having a seemingly stern bus driver, one early morning Mandy’s mother handed each child in the family a fresh gladiola. Upon entering the yellow bus #6, each child was to give the driver a stem. Mandy, being the youngest, was the last one on and suddenly upon handing the bus driver the flower the once stern bus driver melted into a sweet friend throughout Mandy’s childhood. Flowers and kindness have the power to connect.

In 2019 Mandy’s husband was overseas for a military mission to France. Alone to raise their daughter, while on bedrest with the couple’s son, a moment of peace came upon seeing their daughter laugh and chase butterflies amongst the flowers. A moment in the garden changed everything.

In 2020 during a time of uncertainty for many, Mandy decided to step out and offer her farm fresh flowers to area florists and customers. She never dreamed that such a positive response would be so clearly defined as she started receiving orders from so many in her community.

Mandy is a military wife, full time mom, experienced gardener, and lover of all things beautiful. She has fallen in love with creating helpful tutorials to help others learn the love of gardening and floral design. She hopes to continue to expand the farm to benefit the world through education, community connection, and the beauty of flowers.
